Rachel, a Real SafetyNet™ Customer:

Have you heard Rachel’s story?

She is what motivates me to continue to do my best. Being a single parent, for me it’s really important for her to see that like we’re okay and that we have a good life.

It’s now my responsibility to maintain it. With plans starting at ten dollars or less per month, SafetyNet insurance will pay you thousands if you become injured or lose your job.

I’m the assistant editor and social media manager at Brava magazine.

But I’m also a fitness instructor and a trainer. There’s not a set work schedule.

I have, like, the complete opposite of what a nine-to-five job looks like. I don’t think people need to go around being afraid about losing their job, but I do think you need to be realistic. We all have things that happen to us that we can’t control.

I think financial stress is the worst stress that a person could possibly have or have to deal with.

If Rachel loses her job or becomes injured and can’t work safety net will give her money so she can pay her bills.

That’s what insurance is for: you hope not you’re not gonna have to use it, but it’s there for those things that you couldn’t have foreseen. I feel more prepared. There’s a little bit of a cushion there to give me time until I land that next role. And then you continue to move forward.

I need to have a stopgap in place to make sure I’m okay and that my daughter is okay. There’s a lot to be said for growing up feeling safe and secure.

I am trying to set an example for her. And I want her to know that, especially as a woman, you can take care of yourself, you can take care of your family. There’s no limit to where she could go and what she could do.
